To be eligible for this offer Velocity members must  log in to their Velocity Frequent Flyer account on the Velocity Points Booster storefront and have a minimum Points balance of 1 Point. Members will receive a percentage bonus for the specified Points amounts displayed when Points are purchased through the storefront or the Membership Contact Centre between 12:01 AM AEST 19August 2025 and 11:59 PM AEST 26 August 2025 (Promotion Period).

The minimum purchase for Members is 1,000 Points at a time and can be purchased as many times as desired during the Promotion Period. Members can buy up to a maximum of 250,000 Points per calendar year.

Points will be allocated to the Velocity membership account of the member buying them. Points Booster transactions facilitated through the Membership Contact Centre will attract a fee of $20 or 2,500 Points. Prices are in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST. The applicable price will be the price published at the time the Points are purchased and is subject to change for any future transactions without notice. Once the member buys the Points, the amount paid is non-refundable (unless the member is entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law). Points Booster transactions are processed outside of Australia. The member is responsible for any additional fees charged by the member’s financial institution in connection with the Points Booster transaction. Velocity Points will be credited to your Velocity Account within 72 hours after full and successful payment. Points bought must be redeemed for a Reward. Double Points on Thrifty Car Hire with Virgin Australia

³During the promotional period of 12:01AM AEST on 5 August  2025 to 11:59PM AEST on 18 August 2025 (Offer Period), Velocity members will earn six (6) Velocity Points per $1 spent on the base rental cost of Australia and New Zealand car hires with Thrifty (usual earn rate of three (3) Points per $1 spent) booked on the Car Trawler site via Virgin Australia (Double Points Offer).  
An eligible car hire means any booking made during the Offer Period for travel between 6 August and 30 November 2025 (inclusive), and where the Velocity member adds their Velocity membership number to the booking. Velocity Points cannot be earned where Velocity Points are used as a form of payment (in whole or in part).  Velocity Points are not earned on any incidental rental costs (including infant seats and insurances). The Double Points Offer does not apply to tier bonus Points earn for Silver, Gold & Platinum members which are earned in addition to the base Velocity Points. For car hire within Australia and New Zealand, for every $1 eligible spend with Thrifty, the following tier bonus applies: 
 
Silver members earn an extra 1.5 bonus Velocity Points; 
Gold members earn an extra 2.25 bonus Velocity Points; and  
Platinum members earn an extra 3 bonus Velocity Points. 
 
A Velocity membership number must be added at the time of booking to be eligible to earn Velocity Points. Cancelled reservations or reservations not used will not earn Velocity Points. Please allow up to eight (8) weeks after the end of the car hire for your Velocity Points to be credited to your Velocity membership account.
