3Earning Points with Virgin Australia Business Flyer: Members can earn up to 1,000,000 Points from completed travel on eligible flights marketed and operated by Virgin Australia or marketed by Virgin Australia and operated by eligible airline partners, per annum, based on the rolling 12 month period from when the Member joins Virgin Australia Business Flyer. Points aren’t earned on certain fees, taxes, or charges.  Virgin Australia Business Flyer Terms and Conditions apply.

4Pay with Points:  Minimum 100 Points required when using Pay with Points. Payment surcharge may apply. 6Eligible Flights: Eligible Flights are (by Fare Type): Business; Economy Flex; Economy Choice and Economy Lite. Eligible Flights do not include (by Fare Type) Groups/Charter and Redemption fares (Rewards Seats). Eligible flights must be booked via an Eligible Booking Channel. An Eligible Booking Channel is:

1. the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal,

2. www.virginaustralia.com or the Virgin Australia mobile application (Virgin Australia App) provided that the Member’s ABN is included,

3. the Member’s nominated TMC, and

4. the Guest Contact Centre. The Member's ABN must be entered at the time of booking for all Eligible Booking Channels. Virgin Australia Business Flyer Terms and Conditions apply.

7Earning Points with Velocity Frequent Flyer: If the individual flying with Virgin Australia or a partner airline is a Velocity Frequent Flyer member, they may also earn Velocity Points on eligible flights in accordance with the Velocity Membership Terms and Conditions.

8Membership Tiers: Virgin Australia Business Flyer has multiple Tier Levels. The Tier Level determines the types of Program Benefits the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member is entitled to access. Certain Program Benefits may only be provided to a specific Tier Level. Please see our website https://virginaustralia.com/businessflyer and Terms and Conditions for information on the Program Benefits. The Program Benefits are incorporated into these Terms.

9Velocity Gold Membership: Virgin Australia Business Flyer Tier 2 members receive one complimentary annual Velocity Gold Membership. Virgin Australia Business Flyer Tier 3 members receive two complimentary annual Velocity Gold Memberships. These complimentary memberships are for member employees only, as nominated by the member.

11Qatar Airways

1. Earn rates are correct as at 11 August 2025 and are subject to change. Flights are governed by the operating carrier's terms and conditions, which can be viewed on the operating carrier's websites. Members travelling on Upgraded fares purchased with Points or any other subsidised means of Upgrades on Virgin Australia or our partner airlines will earn Points based on originally purchased fare classes. Check the Velocity Member Terms and Conditions for details about earning Points.

2. Base Points refers to the minimum number of Points that can be earned for an eligible activity or transaction by a Red member.

3. Available When flying on a Qatar Airways operated flight with a VA flight number (including Virgin Australia flights operated by Qatar Airways on behalf of Virgin Australia, between Australia and Doha, Qatar).

4. Please ensure you download the Velocity Frequent Flyer App as a valid virtual or physical membership card needs to be presented to attain benefits.

5. Qatar Airways Business Discounts: As at 11 August 2025 the following discounts apply to the Qatar Airways and Virgin Australia base fares (which excludes fees, carrier charges and taxes) of Virgin Australia marketed Qatar Airways operated flights (with a VA flight number), including Virgin Australia flights operated by Qatar Airways on behalf of Virgin Australia, between Australia and Doha, Qatar) booked by Virgin Australia Business Flyer members (Members), which may change without notice.

  • VA Fare Class C: 5%
  • VA Fare Class D: 3%

Economy Fares:

  • Tier 1: 1 Point per AUD $1 spent
  • Tier 2: 1.5 Points per AUD $1 spent
  • Tier 3: 2 Points per AUD $1 spent

Please note that Velocity Points cannot be earned on certain fees or charges (e.g. baggage charges and credit card surcharges). Travellers travelling on upgraded fares that were purchased with Points or by bidding for an upgrade will earn as per the rules of the original fare class purchased. An Eligible Booking Channel is: 1. the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal, 2. www.virginaustralia.com provided that the Member’s ABN is included, 3. the Member’s nominated TMC, and 4. the Guest Contact Centre.

  • VA Fare Class S: 0%

The Air Canada Business Discount is applicable on the base fare only, and is subject to change without prior notice.   • The First Name and Last Name in your Velocity Account match the First Name and Last Name in your KrisFlyer Account
  • Your Date of Birth in your Velocity Account matches the Date of Birth in your KrisFlyer Account

If your details do not match, your request to link Accounts will be unsuccessful.

4. When flying on a Singapore Airlines-operated flight with a VA flight number.

5. Singapore Airlines Business Points: Virgin Australia Business Flyer members (Members) will earn Velocity Points when Travellers fly on eligible Singapore Airlines operated flights with a VA flight number (excluding fare classes X, Z and G) bookable via an Eligible Booking Channel as follows:

  • Tier 1: 1 Point per AUD $1 spent
  • Tier 2: 1.5 Points per AUD $1 spent
  • Tier 3: 2 Points per AUD $1 spent

Please note that Velocity Points cannot be earned on certain fees or charges (e.g. baggage charges and credit card surcharges). Travellers travelling on upgraded fares that were purchased with Points or by bidding for an upgrade will earn as per the rules of the original fare class purchased. An Eligible Booking Channel is: 1. the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal, 2. www.virginaustralia.com provided that the Member’s ABN is included, 3. the Member’s nominated TMC, and 4. the Guest Contact Centre.

Please note that Members can earn up to 1,000,000 Velocity Points per annum for travel on flights marketed and operated by Virgin Australia or flights marketed by Virgin Australia and operated by eligible international partner airlines (with a VA flight number) (including Singapore Airlines) based on the rolling 12-month period from when the Member joins Virgin Australia Business Flyer.

Membership and Points earn is subject to the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Terms and Conditions and Velocity Frequent Flyer Terms and Conditions, and any changes to the Member benefits and program features, including Points earn for eligible travel on flights operated by Singapore Airlines, will be governed by those Terms and Conditions. Velocity collects and handles your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, and Virgin Australia Business Flyer collects and handles your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Earn rates are correct as at 3 April 2023 and are subject to change. Flights are governed by the operating carrier's terms and conditions, which can be viewed on the operating carrier's website. Members travelling on upgraded fares purchased with Points or any other subsidised means of upgrades on Virgin Australia or our international partner airlines will earn Points based on originally purchased fare classes. If paying for an upgrade with the international partner airline, the airline partner may re-issue the ticket without a VA flight code/the ticket may no longer start with 795, and the member may no longer be eligible for Points earn.
