​​​​³Economy X seats are limited and may be sold out at time of booking or at any time prior to your travel date. The applicable Economy X fee will be the fee published at the time you purchase Economy X and is subject to change. Price is per person, one way and per sector. Price is in the applicable booking currency, being the country of origin specified in your booking or purchase. Economy X upgrades are non-refundable, except where you are entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law. See the Economy X Terms and Conditions for more information on refunds. Not all product benefits are available at all airports. Where some of the product features are not available or utilised by you, you are not entitled to a refund unless otherwise specified in the Economy X Terms and Conditions. Economy X seats located in Exit Rows require guests to accept and meet the Exit Row Safety Conditions to sit in these rows. If you change your mind and no longer wish to sit in these rows, you may move to an alternate Economy X seat for no additional fee. If however no other Economy X are available, you will be assigned a standard Economy X seat and entitled to a refund of the Economy X price. Please let us know as soon as possible if you no longer meet the Exit Row Safety Conditions. If at the time of travel you no longer meet the Exit Row Safety Conditions you will be offered an alternate Economy X seat or you will be assigned a standard Economy seat and entitled to a refund of the Economy X fee. Triple Points on Hotels by Hopper via Virgin Australia

⁴During the promotional period of 12:01AM AEST on 11 May 2026 to 11:59PM AEST on 17 May 2026 (Offer Period), Velocity members will earn Velocity Points on eligible hotel bookings with Hopper Hotels at https://www.virginaustralia.com/au-en/hotels, with an earn rate of 9 Velocity Points per $1 spent on eligible hotel bookings.  This means that Velocity members may be eligible to earn 3 times the standard earn rate of 3 Velocity Points per $1 spent on an eligible hotel booking. Platinum Plus Members will continue to earn their tier bonus Velocity Points separately (an extra 4.5 bonus Points per $1 spent on eligible hotel bookings). All bookings made through this platform are subject to Hopper terms and conditions.

An eligible hotel booking is one that is made during the Offer Period via Hopper at www.virginaustralia.com/au-en/hotels and is for travel between 11 May 2026 until 26 March 2027 (inclusive). 

Please note that for bookings made via Hopper Hotels where payment is made directly with the hotel or accommodation, a credit card surcharge may apply. 
Velocity Points are not earned on full redemption hotel bookings. For “Points + Pay” bookings, Velocity Points will be earned on any “+ Pay” component. Points will not be awarded for additional or incidental hotel costs (such as in-room charges, early check-in, late checkout and upgrades), cancelled bookings or bookings where stay is not completed. Velocity members must submit their valid Velocity membership number at the time of booking to be eligible to earn Velocity Points. Only one Velocity member per booking (the Primary Guest) is eligible to earn Velocity Points. 
Points are only awarded following a completed stay. Points will be awarded after check-out and are credited to your account within 1 week after check-out. 
This offer, Velocity membership and Velocity Points earn are subject to the Velocity membership Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time.
