- Points Transfer: Virgin Australia Business Flyer Account Administrators can transfer Points earned by the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member to a Velocity Frequent Flyer member, provided that (a) there is a minimum of 100 Points per transfer; and (b) the Velocity Frequent Flyer member transferee is directly employed or contracted by the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member.
- Pay with Points: Minimum 100 Points required when using Pay with Points. Payment surcharge may apply. Virgin Australia fare rules apply to Pay with Points flight bookings. Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership terms and conditions apply. When using Pay with Points as your payment method for Economy X upgrades and additional baggage fees, the full amount of these items must be paid in Points.
- Reward Seats: The Reward Seat base fare is payable in Velocity Points, and taxes, fees and carrier charges are payable in addition to Velocity Points redeemed for the base fare. Reward Seats are limited and may not be available at the advertised lead-in Reward Seat base fares, at peak times or on all flights. Reward Seat bookings must be made on the Virgin Australia website by selecting âUse Pointsâ. Reward Seats and associated charges are not eligible for Points earn. Payment surcharge may apply. You can change or get a refund for your booking by paying a fee and any fare difference, at least 24 hours before scheduled departure. You may also request a refund for other reasons, including under the Australian Consumer Law. View the Velocity Reward Seat fare rules for more information. - UpgradeMe Points: Members with an existing Economy Flex or Economy Choice fare booking (Economy Lite fares are ineligible for Upgrades) on a Virgin Australia flight and ticket number are eligible to purchase an upgrade using Points to Business Class on eligible Virgin Australia Domestic (excluding Christmas Island and Cocos (Keeling) Islands) and Virgin Australia Trans-Tasman and Short-Haul International flights (excluding Reward Seats and Economy Lite fares). Velocity members who upgrade via an UpgradeMe Points request will be charged a single Velocity Points price for requests per each one-way miles zone, starting from 10,000 Velocity Points for Virgin Australia Domestic routes and 8,000 Velocity Points for Virgin Australia Trans-Tasman and Short-Haul International routes. The final Points price redeemed will reflect the published price at the time when the request was made (even if the request is waitlisted) rather than when the memberâs upgrade request is accepted. - Virgin Wines Redemption: The Virgin Wines Redemption Terms and Conditions apply if you want to purchase products from Virgin Wines Redemption using Velocity Frequent Flyer Points. The Redemption Terms and Conditions should be read with Virgin Wines Redemptionsâ Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Velocity Membership Terms and Conditions apply.
- Velocity Rewards Store: Redemption of Points for Products is subject to the Velocity Membership Terms and Conditions, Velocity Rewards Store Terms of Use and any other terms and conditions disclosed at the time of redemption (including gift card terms and conditions). The Velocity Rewards Store is hosted by Collinson Group Limited (ACN 083 835 661). Products ordered through the Rewards Store will not be dispatched until the relevant Points have been deducted from the member's membership account. Deliveries will only be made to a physical address in Australia (PO box deliveries will not be accepted). Rewards Store orders are usually delivered within 14 business days of the order being successfully processed (i.e. Points and any cash payment are received). Delivery dates may vary from time to time.
- Velocity Frequent Flyer members can earn or redeem Points for car hire bookings made with Virgin Australia via CarTrawler. All bookings made through this platform are subject to CarTrawler terms and conditions.
