Our regional fares are available year round, meaning you can book these fares for travel up to 12 months in advance where availability permits. We are proud to take part in the Regional Airfare Zone Cap Scheme (RAZCS) which caps fares for eligible regional residents travelling to Perth. To book, simply select your route and enter your preferred travel dates. Available fares will be indicated as a "special fare" on the next page you see.

*In order to access a discounted regional fare, you must be a member of Velocity Frequent Flyer and live in an eligible postcode. To check your eligibility and book a flight follow these steps: 1) Ensure your address including postcode is up to date in your Velocity account, 2) visit www.virginaustralia.com/au/en/specials/ and click on Regional Fares, 3) enter your Velocity membership number when prompted to check if you live in an eligible suburb, 3) if eligible, search for flights from your nearest Virgin Australia port of departure. Please note new Velocity members or address and postcode changes may take up to 48 hours to be reflected in our eligibility confirmation tool. If you live in an eligible postcode, you will see the discounted fare on the route for which you are eligible. For members residing in Queensland your regional fares are applicable on return Economy Choice and Flex (Fare Class Q and Y) bookings to Brisbane. For members residing in Western Australia your regional fares are applicable on return Economy Choice and Flex (Fare Class Q and Y) bookings to Perth. For members residing in the Northern Territory your regional fares are applicable on return Economy Choice and Flex (Fare Class Q and Y) bookings to Adelaide. The regional fare discounts are not applicable when combined with Lite fares and are not available for Reward Seats. Travel is for leisure purposes only and travel for business is ineligible for this offer. Disability Assistance Concession will not apply to this offer. ³Economy X seats are limited and may be sold out at time of booking or at any time prior to your travel date. The applicable Economy X fee will be the fee published at the time you purchase Economy X and is subject to change. Price is per person, one way and per sector. Price is in the applicable booking currency, being the country of origin specified in your booking or purchase. Economy X upgrades are non-refundable, except where you are entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law. See the Economy X Terms and Conditions for more information on refunds. Not all product benefits are available at all airports. Where some of the product features are not available or utilised by you, you are not entitled to a refund unless otherwise specified in the Economy X Terms and Conditions. Economy X seats located in Exit Rows require guests to accept and meet the Exit Row Safety Conditions to sit in these rows. If you change your mind and no longer wish to sit in these rows, you may move to an alternate Economy X seat for no additional fee. If however no other Economy X are available, you will be assigned a standard Economy X seat and entitled to a refund of the Economy X price. Please let us know as soon as possible if you no longer meet the Exit Row Safety Conditions. If at the time of travel you no longer meet the Exit Row Safety Conditions you will be offered an alternate Economy X seat or you will be assigned a standard Economy seat and entitled to a refund of the Economy X fee.
