Monday 12 October 2026: Velocity Frequent Flyer is giving millions of Australian travellers a major boost towards their next holiday, with two new offers delivering 40,000 bonus Points* and the choice to earn double Points or double Status Credits when they next fly**.
From today, members booking an eligible Virgin Australia Holidays package over $1,000 can pocket 40,000 bonus Velocity Points, on top of the Points they already earn on the booking*.
Meanwhile, Velocity members taking to the skies can also Pick Your Bonus**, choosing between double Velocity Points or double Status Credits when booking eligible Virgin Australia flights.

Velocity members can choose between double Velocity Points or double Status Credits on eligible Virgin Australia flights across its domestic and short-haul international network.

Based on a one-way Economy Domestic Reward Seat on Virgin Australia travelling in zone 1 at the lead-in base fare of 5,900 Velocity Points (additional taxes, fees and carrier charges apply).
