Pay with PAYID

Pay fee-free securely using your online banking or banking app.

How PAYID works

1. Copy your unique PayID email address.

This email address is uniquely generated for your booking, so we know it’s coming from you.

(Take care not to close your Virgin Australia Browser tab) 

2. Log into your banks mobile App or online banking.

Your bank may use “Pay Someone, Pay Anybody or PayID”.

3. Choose "pay by email address".

Paste or enter the unique payment email address displayed on the booking payment page.

4. Enter payment amount and select pay.

When payment is complete return to the Virgin Australia website page to view your booking confirmation.

 

When we don't accept PayID

Travel Insurance

If you select travel insurance as part of your booking you cannot pay with PayID.

Other Currency

If your booking is made in a currency other than $AUD PayID cannot be used.

International Origins

If your flight departs from a location other than an Australian city/ town PayID cannot be used.

 

Once the transaction is complete, payment should be received by Virgin Australia in seconds. Please note: some payments may be delayed as your bank completes their security checks.
