1 Fare Advantage Terms and Conditions: Fare Advantage discounts are available to all registered Virgin Australia accelerate clients. All flights must be booked via the Virgin Australia Corporate Portal, the Virgin Australia Guest Contact Centre or a registered self-ticketing Travel Management Company and are not available via the Virgin Australia public website. For information on how to register your travel management company, please contact the Virgin Australia accelerate team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Fare advantage discounts apply to Eligible Services sold with the 'VA' designator and which are operated by Virgin Australia and also includes code share services operated by Etihad Airways and Virgin Atlantic Airways. Fare Advantage discounts do not apply to any bookings made via the Virgin Australia conference and group travel area and cannot be combined with any other Unpublished Fares and Promotional Fares. Fare Advantage discounts are available on all domestic flights, Trans Tasman, international short haul and international long haul flights using Virgin Australia, Etihad Airways and Virgin Atlantic Airways only. Fare Advantage Discounts apply to the Base Fare of selected fare classes on Virgin Australia marketed flights (VA flight numbers only).
2 Year Round Fare Advantage discounts apply to Base Fare on selected booking classes where fares are available in those booking classes (Domestic Business in D class; Trans Tasman, International Short Haul and International Long Haul Business Saver in D and I classes; Premium Saver in O class: Domestic, Trans Tasman and International Short Haul Freedom in L, K, H, B, Y classes; International Long Haul Freedom in K, H, B, Y classes and Elevate in L class). Fare Advantage discounts will not be applied to sale fares or other tactical fares Virgin Australia offers from time to time. 4 10% discount offered on Business Saver D and I class is available for Advance Purchase fares of 10 days (D class) and 21 days (I class) respectively. Clients will need to purchase these fares/classes at least 10 or 21 days in advance of their proposed travel date to receive the promotional discount indicted.
5 Long haul international includes flights on a ‘VA’ Designator and operated by Virgin Australia, Etihad Airways and Virgin Atlantic Airways.
6 Minimum annual base fare expenditure level to receive or continue to receive an accelerate travel credit.
7 Your accelerate Travel Credits will be calculated by applying the appropriate percentage rebate to your total eligible expenditure for the relevant period. Full details relating to the calculation of your accelerate travel rebate credits is outlined in Schedule 2(B) of the accelerate terms and conditions (PDF).
