Departure information
Domestic: Virgin Australia operates from the Virgin Australia Melbourne T3 Terminal located at the left end of main airport building, directly adjacent to the International Terminal. Melbourne airport is approximately 22 km from the CBD.
For domestic flights, bag drop opens 3 hours before your flight’s scheduled departure time. Bags will not be accepted before this time. Bag drop closes 30 minutes prior to your flight time.
International: Virgin Australia International operates from the Melbourne International T2 Terminal, directly adjacent to the Domestic T3 Terminal. Counters open 3 hours prior to departure.
Transfer between terminals
Melbourne International Terminal is located in the main terminal, a short walking distance from the domestic terminal.
Arrival information
Baggage carousels are located in the arrivals hall . Information monitors display flight carousel numbers for baggage collection points.
Baggage Services is located in the arrivals hall, ground floor.
