Customs

Duty Free

Duty Free shopping is the fun start to your international travel journey, but restrictions do apply.

Normal baggage allowances apply to your Duty Free purchases, and if applicable, excess baggage charges may apply. If your purchases exceed carry-on baggage limits, you will need to check in your Duty Free shopping.

Australia

Duty Free Limits

Alcoholic beverages	2.25 litres (approx 1.98 quarts) per person.	Must be 18+ years
Tobacco, cigarettes and cigars	50 cigarettes or 50 grams (approx 1.76 oz) of tobacco or cigar products per person. Includes all tobacco products in accompanied baggage, regardless of how or where they were purchased.	Must be 18+ years
Other	AUD$900 per person worth of personal goods. For example, cameras or perfumes.	AUD$450 per person limit for persons under 18 years

Note: Due to restriction mandated by the Australian Government, it is forbidden to carry liquids, aerosols or gels during transit at Abu Dhabi airport if your final destination is in Australia.

New Zealand

Duty Free Limits

Alcoholic beverages	4.5L of wine or; 4.5L of beer; 3 bottles (or other containers) each containing not more than 1125ml of spirits, Liquer or other spirituous beverages.	Must be 17+ years
Tobacco, cigarettes and cigars	200 cigarettes or 250 grams (approx 8.82 oz) of tobacco or 50 cigars per person.	Must be 17+ years
Other	NZD$700 per person worth of personal goods. For example, cameras or perfumes.	No age limit
