Setting up your Rewards Portal

When your business become a Virgin Australia Business Flyer member, Administrators or the listed Key Contact of the business account will receive two emails with instructions on how to activate the business account in both the Rewards Portal and the Business Booking Portal.

The Rewards Portal and the Business Booking Portal are different platforms which need to be activated separately.

You can set them up with the same login details if you choose. If you’ve missed this email and haven’t yet activated your Rewards Portal, you can do it here.

Please note that only an Administrator or Key Contact will be able to access the Rewards Portal associated with the Virgin Australia Business Flyer account.

Tier 1

Choose your Tier 2 or Tier 3 Reward

Once your business progresses to Tier 2 or Tier 3 status, you have the opportunity to choose from a selection of exciting rewards.6 Here’s how to make your choice:

Activate

You'll receive an email when your account reaches Tier 2 or Tier 3 status, with a link to choose your reward. If this email has been missed, or the link has expired, please email your choice of reward to businessflyer@virginaustralia.com.

Choose

You’ll need to follow the link in the email, which will direct you to a form where you can choose your reward. Once chosen, they will appear in your Rewards Portal.

Allocate

If you choose either the Lounge Passes or Business Class upgrades, these rewards will need to be allocated to a Velocity Frequent Flyer member to use. This can be done in the Rewards Portal.

Redeeming Points

If you’ve selected bonus Points for the business as your chosen reward, or if you’ve earned at least 3,000 Points from eligible travelled flights, you can turn them into something special. Points can be used towards business flights7, or you can transfer them to a personal Velocity Frequent Flyer account.1 This could be a great way of recognising and rewarding your team.

Claim missing Points for flights travelled

You can submit a claim for missing Points on all eligible flights travelled within 180 days of the boarding date. To submit a claim, follow the steps below:

  1. In the Rewards Portal, select “Points” in the top menu bar and select “Claim missing Points”.
  2. Complete the mandatory fields on this page, then press “Submit”.
  3. Your claim will be reviewed by a Virgin Australia team member, and if approved, you’ll receive an email confirmation.
