Arriving at Brisbane Airport (BNE)

Virgin Australia domestic flights to Brisbane will arrive at the Domestic Terminal (or T2) of Brisbane Airport. Most Brisbane flights will typically arrive between gates 38 and 50, at the southern end of the Domestic Terminal, but make sure to check your arrival gate ahead of time to confirm.

Guests with checked baggage should follow the signs to the baggage claim area, located on the ground floor of the Arrivals Hall. Information monitors will display the carousel number for baggage collection for your flight number.

  • Airtrain: Brisbane’s Airtrain is considered the fastest and most convenient option to get into the city. The service runs from the airport to the city runs approximately every 15-30 minutes, depending on the time of day, and takes only 20 minutes.
  • Taxi: The sheltered taxi rank is located in the front of the Domestic Terminal building.
  • Rideshare: Uber and Didi pick-up zones are located on the central road outside of the Domestic Terminal.
