Location

Haneda Airport or Tokyo International Airport, as it is now known, operates international flights from Terminal 3.

Departure Information

Virgin Australia check-in is located in the international departures lobby, 3rd floor Terminal 3.

Virgin Australia counters will open for check-in 3 hours prior to departure and close 45 minutes prior to departure.

Arrival Information

Virgin Australia flights will arrive at level 2, Terminal 3.

 

Baggage Carousels are located in the Arrivals Hall in Terminal 3. Disembark the aircraft and follow signs to Arrivals / Baggage Claim. Information monitors display flight carousel numbers for baggage collection

Baggage Services is located in the Arrivals Hall.

Connecting flights

If you have a connecting flight to catch, please follow the below steps:

1. International to international transfers

On arrival proceed to the security checkpoint for international connections located on the arrival concourse. Check-in for your connecting flight at the international transit counter on level 2, and then proceed to your departure gate on level 3. If you have through checked to your final international destination proceed directly to the level 3 gate after passing through the security check.

 

2. International to domestic transfers

If transferring to an ANA connecting flight: Upon arrival, and after retrieving your baggage and clearing customs, proceed to the domestic transfer counter on level 2 to check in your baggage. After clearing the security check for domestic connections use the ANA transit bus to proceed to the domestic terminal. 

If transferring to an alternative connecting flight: Upon arrival, and after retrieving your baggage and clearing customs, transfer to the domestic terminals is free of charge and can be accessed via the free shuttle bus departing from level 1.

 

3. Getting to Narita International Airport

The most convenient way to get to Narita International Airport is via train or by airport shuttle.

The airport boasts numerous food and shopping opportunities both before and after security and immigration. With food and drink outlets and shops including gift retailers, boutiques and duty-free shopping be sure to leave ample time to look around while travelling through Haneda Airport. A pre-order and pick-up service for duty-free products are available and be sure to confirm liquid restrictions at the boarding gate upon purchase.

The airport further boasts a 24hour Observation Deck at Terminal 3

 

Transport Information

Parking Haneda International Airport offers 3,000 public parking spaces in the airport carpark, which is open 24hours a day every day.
Train The Haneda Airport International Passenger Terminal connects directly to the underground Haneda Airport International Terminal Station on the Keikyu Line, and to the 3rd floor Haneda Airport International Terminal Station of the Tokyo Monorail Line. The journey between the Airport and the city, either by train or monorail takes as little as 15 minutes.
Taxi Taxis and limousine buses are available outside the terminal. Bus tickets can be purchased from the counter in the arrival’s hall.

 

Airport Facilities

Toilets Toilets are located throughout the airport; disabled toilet facilities are also available along with multi-purpose toilets.
Baby Change Rooms Baby change rooms are located throughout the airport.
Internet Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the airport. 
ATMs
ATMs and currency exchange are located throughout the terminal.
Assistance
Guests requiring assistance can be escorted to and from departure/arrival gates utilising a wheelchair or a passenger cart. Ask a team member for assistance.
Baggage Hold
Temporary luggage storage is available in the arrival level as well as large and small coin lockers which are available for up to a 7-day usage.

 

Lounges

Lounges Virgin Australia does not have a Lounge or hold agreements with any third-party Lounge operators in Haneda.
