Status Credits cannot be earned on all fare classes. Status Credits can only be earned on eligible flights, marketed and operated by Virgin Australia and/or a Velocity airline partner. Find out which fare classes earn Status Credits. Status Credits cannot be earned in other fare classes, unless advised otherwise. Status Credits accrual is based on single flight segments that consist of individual flight numbers. An itinerary that involves a change in aircraft but retains the same flight number is considered a single flight segment. An itinerary that consists of a change in flight numbers, even if the same aircraft is used for the entire itinerary, is considered two flight segments. Members travelling on upgraded fares purchased with Points or any other subsidised means of upgrades on Virgin Australia or our partner airlines will earn Status Credits based on original purchased fare class.

Fare Advantage Discounts 

Enjoy the benefits of reduced fares by up to 10%1 off for your employees’ business travel when you book a Virgin Australia ticket and travel on Virgin Australia, Air New Zealand, Delta Air Lines, Etihad Airways and Singapore Airlines operated flights with a VA flight number.

Fare Advantage2 discounts are available across a range of fare classes in Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy. Annual Travel Credits

On every 12 month anniversary you will be rewarded with annual travel credits to spend on Virgin Australia flights and our international accelerate partner airlines, when booking on a Virgin Australia ticket. Expenditure on codeshare services operated by our accelerate partner airlines, Air New Zealand, Delta Air Lines and Etihad Airways contributes to your overall accelerate expenditure.

The more you spend, the higher the percentage you will receive, simply meet your minimum $20,000 annual expenditure target for your rewards to begin.

Services operated by Singapore Airlines will be excluded from Total Flown Expenditure and Eligible Expenditure calculations.
