Our new state-of-the-art T1 Domestic Terminal at Perth Airport is now open. All Virgin Australia flights that previously operated from T3 are now located at T1 Domestic.



Transfer seamlessly

All regional, domestic and international Virgin Australia flights are now located together at the T1/T2 airport precinct. Connecting flights are only a short distance apart making transfers more seamless than ever.
Flight departures by terminal are outlined below:

o T1 Domestic = VA0200 – VA2499 (excluding VA1900 – VA1999)
o T1 International = VA0050 – VA0199, VA1900 – VA1999
o T2 = VA2500 – VA2999, VA9020 – VA9499

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I check-in at the new T1 Domestic Airport in Perth?

Our new T1 Domestic Terminal offers Self Check-in and Self Bag Drop capabilities as well as a full service check-in, all supported by our friendly Virgin Australia team members.

Our Self Check-in kiosks enable you to check-in, print your own boarding pass, and if travelling with checked baggage, print your own bag tag. Once you have attached your bag tag, you can then proceed to Self Bag Drop.

If you have already checked-in online or via your mobile device, and are travelling with baggage, simply scan your boarding pass at a Self Check-in kiosk to print your bag tag before proceeding to Self Bag Drop.

What should I do if I arrive at the wrong terminal and miss my flight?

Perth Airport Gold Coat volunteers in Terminal 3 can provide direction / assistance to guests who arrive at the wrong terminal, alternatively please visit the service desk in T1 Domestic to speak with a Virgin Australia team member, or phone our Guest Contact Centre on 13 67 89.

Where do I go if I am travelling with pets?

Passengers will need to lodge and pick up their pet from the Menzies freight facility – 40 Sugarbird Lady Road, Perth Airport

How do I transfer between Terminals at Perth Airport?

If you are connecting onto another Virgin Australia flight or a partner carrier, T2 and T1 International are within walking distance from T1 Domestic. You no longer need to catch the terminal transfer bus.

If you are connecting onto another carrier, a free terminal transfer bus service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Terminal transfer bus stops are located on the forecourt at T1, T3, T4 and in a new dedicated bus area close to T2.

What parking options are available at the T1 Domestic Terminal?

Long term parking is available on Horrie Miller Drive and short term parking is located directly in front of the new T1 Domestic Terminal.

Is there parking for guests travelling with wheelchairs?

Yes, guests requiring wheelchair assistance and who have the appropriate parking permits will be able to use the parking provided at the guest drop off/pick up zone at the front of the terminal in order to assist friends and family members into or from the terminal.

Is there a guest drop off and pick up area at the front of the new Terminal?

Yes, there is a pick-up / drop off zone located directly in front of the new T1 Domestic Terminal.

Is there a taxi rank in front of T1 Domestic?

Due to T1 Domestic’s close proximity to T2, a shared taxi rank can be located between the two terminals, at the front of the forecourt plaza.

Can I hire a car from T1 Domestic?

Yes, you will find car hire vendors located on the ground floor near the baggage carousels in the T1 Domestic Terminal.

Is there a Virgin Australia Lounge in T1 Domestic Terminal?

Yes, a new Virgin Australia Lounge is located on Level 1, on the left hand side just past security in the T1 Domestic Terminal and is available for use by eligible members travelling on an onward Virgin Australia domestic flight.

What retail and dining options are available at the new T1 Domestic Terminal?

There is a fantastic range of dining and retail outlets in the new T1 Domestic Terminal including:
