This Travel Agent Incentive (Incentive) is offered by Virgin Australia and commences at 12.01am AEST 30 January 2023 and ends at 11:59pm AEST 31 March 2023 (Promotion Period).

The Incentive is available to individual Australian-based travel agents (Travel Agent). To qualify for the 8,000 Velocity Points the Travel Agent must 1) Activate this offer using the Activation form (linked above) and; 2) Seek permission from their client to sign their client’s business up to the Virgin Australia Business Flyer program confirming that they have read and accepted the Privacy Statement for Business Flyer and Loyalty, and the Virgin Australia Privacy Policy) and; 3) Successfully sign-up their client’s small-medium enterprise to join the Virgin Australia Business Flyer program using the application form (linked above), the Travel Agent must be nominated in the Booking Preference section. Both steps must be completed within the Promotion Period. Virgin Australia reserves the right to validate each new member.

The Incentive is capped at the first 200 eligible Virgin Australia Business Flyers nominated by a Travel Agent who has activated the offer. Travel Agents will receive 8,000 Velocity Points for each new eligible business which successfully joins the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Program, provided the cap has not been reached and the Travel Agent has complied with the terms of the Incentive. Travel Agents are only required to activate the offer through the activation form once. Travel Agents must hold an active Velocity Frequent Flyer membership to receive the Velocity Points.

Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership is available to businesses with an active ABN/ACN and an Australian business address that spend less than $300K per annum on flights with Virgin Australia. The business cannot be a Superannuation fund, travel agent, travel management company, travel wholesaler, air travel consolidator or anyone re-selling air travel. Please allow until 31 May 2023 for the Velocity Points to be credited to the successful Travel Agents. Any attempts at participating in this Incentive which do not fully comply with these Terms and Conditions (including, without limitation, any typographic errors) may be deemed invalid at Virgin Australia’s discretion and the decision will be final. Virgin Australia will not be liable for any tax liability or tax reporting obligations, including without limitation income tax, fringe benefits tax, or any liability or loss of opportunity due to reportable fringe benefits, incurred by a Travel Agent, their employer or any other party with regards to any connection with participating in the Incentive or the receipt or use of any Velocity Points. 3 These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with the Velocity Membership Terms and Conditions, Velocity Privacy Policy, MYER Online Shopping Terms and Conditions, MYER Returns Policy and MYER Privacy Policy (“collectively Terms and Conditions”). The use and access to Velocity Points and/or MYER.com.au will be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Velocity Points can be redeemed, in part or in full, online at www.MYER.com.au excluding purchases of MYER Gift Cards, Coles Group & MYER Gift Cards, payments towards a MYER credit card, instore purchases and phone orders. A minimum redemption of 3,000 Velocity Points can be made online at MYER.com.au per order/transaction. You cannot redeem Velocity Points for more than the total amount of your purchase. Points are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash or any other tender. Velocity members may pay for purchases online at MYER.com.au using a combination of Velocity Points and a credit card, debit card, MYER Gift Card, MYER Reward Card Coles Group & MYER Gift Card. The MYER Returns Policy applies to all orders/transactions. Any items received as a result of Velocity Points redemption may only be refunded for the applicable Points value redeemed for such item. Change of mind refunds will be provided as a MYER Returns Card (valid for three years from the date of issue) for the portion paid using Velocity Points. Any remaining balance not paid by Velocity Points will be returned in the same tender as per the MYER Returns Policy. Refunds provided due to a consumer guarantee or relevant regulation such as faulty items will be credited back to the original Velocity account used to pay in the original order/transaction for the amount of Points originally redeemed. MYER one Credits will be applied to the total transaction amount paid, as per the MYER one terms and conditions. 4 Virgin Australia Business Flyer Member Promotion is valid between 12:01am AEST 16 January 2023 to 11:59pm AEST 31 March 2023 (inclusive) (Promotion Period).

For businesses to earn up to 150,000 bonus Velocity Points its nominated representative must:

     1. successfully apply for a new Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership during the Promotion Period; and

     2. within 90 days from the membership approval:

             A.              spend $5,000 or more on eligible flights (excluding taxes and fees and after any discounts), and fly on those eligible flights, to receive 50,000 bonus Velocity Points; and

             B.              spend a further $5,000 or more on eligible flights (excluding taxes and fees and after any discounts), and fly on those eligible flights, to receive an additional 100,000 bonus Velocity Points.

An eligible flight is: A. any one-way domestic or short haul international flight marketed and operated by Virgin Australia, booked through the Virgin Australia website (ABN must be entered at time of booking), the Virgin Australia Business Flyer booking portal or via the member’s nominated Travel Management Company, and B. ticketed during the Promotion Period in a fare class that normally accrues Velocity Points. Reward Seats are not eligible for this promotion.  Codeshare services marketed or operated by partner airlines are not eligible for this offer.

Bonus Velocity Points will be earned in addition to base Velocity Points earned. Bonus Points will be applied to the originally purchased fare class and any upgrades (other than when you paid the full commercial fare) will not attract Bonus Points as a result of this offer. This promotion can only be earned once during the Promotion Period. Please allow up to 4 weeks after meeting all criteria for the Velocity Points to be allocated to the Virgin Australia Business Flyer account. Promotion only available to new Virgin Australia Business Flyer members. This offer can be used in conjunction with the New Member 2,500 Bonus Velocity Points and First Flight Double Bonus Velocity Points offers.
