Just 40 minutes from Queenstown, The Remarkables specifically cater for families and beginners. New Zealand’s leading snowboard park and pipes can be found an hour away at Cardrona. Further up the valley, Snow Farm offers one of the country’s premier cross country ski areas. While an hour and a half away, Treble Cone is regarded to host New Zealand’s best skiing.
