Discover Brisbane

South Bank is not Brisbane's only cultural drawcard, a number of vibrant micro spaces within the CBD also give the city panache.

Enjoying an eventful year-round social calendar, breathtaking natural beauty, and lively urban precincts, the Queensland state capital is an exciting metropolis.

From South Bank to Portside, Fortitude Valley to West End, and New Farm to Kangaroo Point, Brisbane brims with memorable cultural experiences.

Home to flagship boutiques, a streetscape of brilliant colours and artistic intuitions like The Queensland Conservatorium of Music and The Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Bank is Brisbane’s creative hub.

Discover one of the precinct’s most famous resident, Queensland’s Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA), through acclaimed local and international exhibitions.

South Bank is not Brisbane's only cultural drawcard; a number of vibrant micro spaces within the CBD also give the city panache.

As part of the Brisbane Council’s Vibrant Laneways and Small Spaces Program a number of forgotten inner city spaces have been revitalised into places where people can meet and relax, shop and dine and celebrate creative arts.

Projects include: King Edward Park  a fig tree-shadowed park with benches for resting and an oversized checkerboard for playing; Burnett Lane  a hip and on-trend brick-walled alleyway home to boutique restaurants and bars; and Little Roma Street  a dedicated space which blends subtropical landscape, public art and urban design.

Spurred by the innovation and dedication of local creatives, Winn Lane is another exciting inner city Brisbane gem. Located in infamous Fortitude Valley, Winn Lane fosters a romantic and frivolous vibe, and impresses with pop-up and fixed stores, markets and a strong sense of community.
