Premium Valet Parking at Perth Airport
 

After a review of the Premium Valet Parking service at Perth Airport, Virgin Australia will be closing operations due to low customer demand.

Bookings for this service will be accepted until 30 June 2019, and the final day of operations will be on 5 July 2019.

 
 
Agent Process During Schedule Changes
 

Virgin Australia wishes to remind agents of the correct process to be followed in the event of a schedule change.

When providing a refund for a non-flexible fare as a result of an unsuitable schedule change, please ensure you include the appropriate waiver code to avoid receiving an Agency Debit Memo (ADM). 

Agents can process a refund via the Global Distribution System (GDS) by including the recommended authority/waiver code to waive any refund fees associated with the schedule change.

 
 
Delta Air Lines Aircraft on LAX-NYC Services
 

Please be aware that from November 2019, our Joint Venture Partner Delta Air Lines (DL) will move from operating a mixed fleet of aircraft to operating all Boeing 767 aircraft on services between New York and Los Angeles.

This move will make DL the only carrier to offer widebody service and direct aisle access in Business Class on every service between these two cities. The 2-3-2 seat configuration in the main cabin will also see DL have the fewest number of middle seats.

This will further enhance and differentiate Virgin Australia’s premium trans-pacific offering with DL for guests travelling between Australia and New Zealand to New York.

Final Weeks Until accelerate Moves to OSI Tracking
 

There is less than two weeks until Virgin Australia accelerate moves to OSI tracking for all bookings made through the GDS.

From 1 July 2019, you will no longer need to enter a tour code when making a booking.

OSI tracking will provide you with:

• An easier and more efficient booking process;
• Optimised tracking ability; and
• Streamlined ticketing.

To ensure you have enough time to migrate to the new booking process, you will have until 1 January 2020 to transition from the current method to OSI tracking. 

How to make a booking using OSI entries

Please enter your client’s ABN number using the below OSI entries at the time of PNR creation.
