1. Access to the Lounge
1.1 Entry to the lounge via Lounge Experience (“a Lounge Pass”) is subject to these Terms and Conditions and the Virgin Australia lounge Rules.
1.2 Lounge Experience Passes are only valid at Virgin Australia’s Cairns, Darwin and Perth Domestic Airport lounges per the itinerary. Lounge Experience Passes cannot be redeemed at any other Virgin Australia Domestic Lounge or any of Virgin Australia’s Air New Zealand Lounges, Eligible Partner Airline lounges or any other partner airline lounges.
1.3 Access to the Lounge via Lounge Experience is subject to space availability at all times, and may not be available for use, during peak periods and high capacity utilisation of lounges. If Lounge access is unavailable, we will refund the original form of payment.
1.4 Guest with a valid Lounge Experience Pass will be given access to the Lounge no more than one hour prior to the departure of their flight for the Darwin Lounge and no more than two hours prior to the departure of their flight for the Cairns and Perth Lounge.
1.5 You can use your electronic Lounge Experience Pass by showing your Electronic Ticket Receipt, a maximum of 1 hour prior to your scheduled Virgin Australia flight departure for the Darwin Lounge and a maximum of 2 hours prior to your scheduled Virgin Australia flight departure for the Cairns and Perth Lounges.
1.6 If you are under the age of 18 you must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the Lounge.
1.7 You must drink responsibly within the Lounge. If you are under the age of 18 you must not access to the self-service bar.
1.8 Lounge Experience Passes are only available for purchase on selected flights, with departure times and destination to be determined by Virgin Australia in its complete discretion.
1.9 Lounge Experience Passes must be used at the specified port and on the date as specified by your travel itinerary.
1.10 Access to the Perth Lounge at Terminal 2 is not available on weekends. Guests are required to use the Lounge at Terminal 1 during these periods.
2. Fees and Cancellations
2.1 The Lounge Experience fee quoted is per person, one way, in the applicable booking currency of country of origin or purchase. Lounge Experience will be allocated electronically.
2.2 If you fail to use your Lounge Experience (except in circumstances where your flight is cancelled in accordance with clause 1.9 above) you will not be eligible for a refund or credit.
2.3 If you upgrade to Business Class (in accordance with your flight ticket fare rules) you will not be entitled to a refund or credit for the Lounge Experience fee.
2.4 Lounge Experience Passes are not:
(b) redeemable for cash or other services provided by Virgin Australia;
(c) available for use beyond their travel date; or
2.5 Lounge Experience Passes are not refundable, except:
(a) where you are entitled to a refund of the Lounge Experience Pass fee or of your fare under the Australian Consumer Law. For example, if you are denied access to the Lounge by a Virgin Australia Lounge staff members; or
(b) if you cancel your flight booking.
If you are entitled to refund, we will process the refund to your original form of payment.
