The Virgin Blue Group of Airlines Appoints New Advertising Agency17/09/2010
SYDNEY 17 SEPTEMBER 2010: The Virgin Blue Group of Airlines has appointed advertising agency Clemenger BBDO as its new agency commencing 1 October, 2010.
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Virgin Blue Group John Borghetti said “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Clemenger BBDO as the new creative agency for the Virgin Blue Group of Airlines.
“Their proven expertise in brand strategy and creative capabilities will be instrumental in delivering a new direction for the brand.
“They will be responsible for all the creative elements of the brand including marketing and advertising.
“Virgin is one of the most admired brands globally and Virgin Blue is one of the most loved Australian brands.
“Over the next 12 months you will see us reposition the brand as we take a fresh approach to the next decade.
“There will be few parts of the Virgin Blue brand left untouched – and we needed a strong strategic partner to help us deliver this,” Mr. Borghetti said.

Mr. Borghetti said that the newly appointed Creative Director for the Virgin Blue Group of Airlines, Hans Hulsbosch, would work closely with Clemenger BBDO.
