Sydney Airport Information

Sydney Airport (Kingsford Smith Airport) is Australia’s busiest airport. Located in Mascot next to Botany Bay, Sydney Airport is 10km south of Sydney City, and can be accessed by various transport options, including:

Taxi: Sheltered and supervised taxi ranks are located outside T2. Kerbside supervisors can organise taxis for those with special requirements or travelling in big groups. A standard taxi service from Sydney Airport to Sydney City costs approximately $25.

Rail: Sydney Domestic Airport is serviced by the Airport Link train service. The Domestic Terminal train station is located underground, directly between T2 and T3, and is accessible from the Arrivals level. Trains to the city run every 10 minutes, take 13 minutes and costs $15.40 (one way, per person).
Bus: Clearly marked bus stops are located on the Arrivals level outside T3. T2 and T3 are walking distance apart.

Guests travelling from Sydney City to Sydney Airport (and vice versa) should allow at least 30 minutes for travel.

Sydney Domestic and International Airports are connected via train and bus. The train between Domestic and International takes 2 minutes and costs $5.00 (one way, per person). The T-Bus operates between T1 and T2 and takes up to 10 mins, and costs $5.50 (one way, per person).
