Newcastle Airport is located in Port Stephens, 15km (25 minutes’ drive) north of Newcastle city centre, and can be accessed by various transport options, including:

• Car Hire: Receive mates’ rates when you choose from a great choice of hire cars from our car partners.
• Taxi: A taxi rank can be found adjacent to the arrivals area of the terminal. Newcastle Taxis can be contacted directly, free-of-charge, on the dedicated taxi phone located in the arrivals end of the terminal.
• Bus: Newcastle Airport is serviced by two public bus companies, Port Stephens Coaches and Hunter Valley Buses. Port Stephens Coaches operates a service from Newcastle Airport to Newcastle train station (up to 11 times a day), and to the Nelson Bay area. Hunter Valley Buses operates a public bus service from Newcastle Airport to Maitland, Raymond Terrace and Stockton.
• Transfers: Newcastle Airport Information Services can arrange door-to-door airport transfers. The service desk is located in the arrivals hall.
