Virgin Australia is currently trialling free Wireless In-flight Entertainment on selected aircraft.

This state-of-the-art system provides you with access to over 300 hours of movies, TV shows and music, all available on your own device.

To access the system you need to follow a few simple steps before your flight#:

Apple iPad® / iPhone® / iPod touch®:

  1. Download the free “Inflight Entertainment by Virgin Australia” App from the App StoreSM~
  2. Once you’ve downloaded the App, activate it by opening the App on your device while connected to the internet. It’s important you complete this step, otherwise the App won’t load on board.

  3. From time to time Virgin Australia will release free updates to the App, and your device will receive a notification from the App StoreSM. Keeping your App up-to-date will allow you to access the latest content and functionality when on board.

Laptop with Windows OS:

Check the device has the correct version of MS Silverlight by loading the test page on your laptop while connected to the internet.

Once you’ve completed the steps above, make sure your device is fully charged and enjoy the flight!
