V Australia’s Customers the Most Satisfied

05/04/2011

V Australia has topped Roy Morgan Research’s latest Airline Satisfaction Report released today.

The report details V Australia’s customers are 91 per cent “very” or “fairly” satisfied for the 12 months to January 2011 ahead of other airlines that include Air New Zealand; Singapore Airlines; Malaysian; Qantas Airways; Thai Airways; Emirates and Cathay Pacific.

Virgin Blue Group of Airlines Group Executive of Corporate Communications Danielle Keighery said it was an outstanding result for an airline that had been operating for just two years.

“We know that we deliver an exceptional international product to our Guests, but it is gratifying to have this news confirmed in an industry report against airlines that have been in business for more than 20 years.

“Since its launch in 2009, the award-winning V Australia service has changed the game for Australians travelling to the United States, providing a high-quality competitive travel option. Now, with our new V Australia service to Abu Dhabi and our partnership with Etihad Airways, Australians will be able to enjoy that same excellent service on their way to Europe and beyond.

“The V Australia Boeing 777 aircraft has a three class cabin - Business, Premium Economy and Economy Class - each with unique features designed to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for our guests. In particular the flat-beds and “ladies only” bathroom in Business Class and the mood lighting throughout the aircraft prove to be very popular with Guests.

“The inflight menu has a great range of meals with a focus on fresh Australian produce, designed by leading Australian chef Luke Mangan. Our award-winning seat-back entertainment system, RED offers a wealth of entertainment options and a vibrant easy-to-use touch-screen.

“Guests continually tell us that it is our Cabin and Ground Crew that put V Australia in a class of its own. The Crew are warm and genuine in their day-to-day service delivery, they are very proud of what V Australia has to offer and it shows”, Ms Keighery said.
