Services Recommence From Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney

BRISBANE 21 JUNE 2011: The Virgin Australia Group of Airlines will commence services tomorrow Wednesday 22 June from the capital cities of Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney.

The latest forecast from the Bureau of Meteorology has shown that the ash plume will move into the Tasman tomorrow and no longer affect flights from these cities.

Consistent with our earlier advice to Guests, Virgin Australia will target the commencement of services from:

·Adelaide from 07.00am

·Melbourne from 12.00pm

·Canberra from 3.00pm

·Sydney from 3.00pm

The Virgin Australia Group would endeavour to accommodate as many Guests as possible by adding additional capacity on some routes.

Guests should first check the website to ensure their flight is operating - go to www.virginaustralia.com or telephone 13 6789.

Those Guests who had their flights cancelled should go to the website or telephone 13 6789.

Guests with non-essential travel should also reassess their need to travel. The website has a suite of information relating to changes without penalty and other flexible travel arrangements.
