Update on Volcanic Ash Situation

BRISBANE 12 JUNE 2011: The Virgin Australia Group of Airlines will cancel three services to New Zealand today as a result of the moving cloud of ash generated from a volcano in the South American region.

Two return services due to operate today were Brisbane – Dunedin (DJ74 and DJ75) and Melbourne – Christchurch (DJ60 and DJ63). One service from Brisbane to Hamilton (New Zealand) DJ 86 has also been cancelled.

We are accommodating guests on services due to depart today. Those guests will be provided with hotel accommodation and meals during this time.
