Virgin Blue Holdings Limited (ASX VBA) Statement in Response to Draft Decision by ACCC on Trans Tasman Alliance

Friday, 10 September 2010: The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) today issued a draft decision denying authorisation for Virgin Blue and Air New Zealand’s application to operate an alliance on Trans-Tasman services.

The parties note that the ACCC has invited the Applicants to provide information to substantiate the public benefits claimed.

The parties welcome the invitation and will do so.
