Domestic Connections

If you have connecting Virgin Australia domestic flights – made under a single booking, on the same ticket number – you will be checked through to your final domestic Australian destination at check-in.

You will:

  • Receive a ticket for each leg of your journey.
  • Transfer to connecting flights within domestic airports – check flight information display screens at the airport, or speak to ground crew, for gate information.
  • Collect your checked baggage at your final destination.

If you have connecting flights on separate bookings you will be required to collect your baggage and check in for your next flight at the transfer port.

Note: Formal connections – connecting flights made under a single booking – are considered one flight and cannot be split.
