The Kangaroo Island FEASTival is a five day gastronomic celebration that features a degustation of over 15 extraordinary dining events around Australia’s third largest Island.
Join renowned Chef & Restaurateur Matt Moran at the Launch Dinner. Matt will team up with local Chef Tony Nolan from Kangaroo Island Culinary Adventures to bring guests a spectacular launch night feast. Set on Tony’s working cattle farm, Matt’s Argentinian inspired menu will feature whole pigs & farm raised ducks, geese, lamb & other meats. The interactive dinner will see Matt, Tony & other Chefs in action as they bring the ‘farm-to-table’ story to life – cooking live in front of guests under the Southern Stars.
On Sunday 27th April, meet Australia’s national living treasure Margaret Fulton. She’ll be at Charlie Anderson’s Kangaroo Island Farm for a county-style garden lunch set to the pace and nostalgia of the 1930’s. Set amongst a working farm (& an impressive Tudor style homestead) guests have a rare opportunity to sample some of Margaret’s most loved & iconic dishes. Between a spot of croquet on the lawns (or a relaxing Hazyblur Wine on the sweeping verandas) guests can meander through the newly renovated home to see preserves being made, wool classing & the arts.
