The Jersey Boys creative team comprises two-time Tony Award®-winning director Des McAnuff, book writers Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, composer Bob Gaudio and lyricist Bob Crewe. Jersey Boys Original Broadway Cast Recording received a 2006 Grammy Award® for Best Musical Show Album. For the past 100 weeks, the album has lived almost exclusively at the top of the Billboard chart of best-selling Broadway show recordings.
The Cast Recording has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Jersey Boys is in its fourth sold out year on Broadway and is consistently one of the Top 3 weekly grossing shows. Jersey Boys National Tour has already smashed box office records in Los Angeles, Sacramento, Tempe (Arizona), San Diego, Seattle, Tampa, Minneapolis and Cleveland; and open-ended productions in San Francisco and Chicago broke all house records.
Jersey Boys opened to rave reviews in London in March 2008 and in Las Vegas in April 2008. Jersey Boys has been seen by over 7.5 million people across the world.
