Gift Vouchers purchased in Australian Dollars can be redeemed in Australian Dollars only.
Gift Vouchers purchased in New Zealand Dollars can be redeemed in New Zealand Dollars only
Please quote the Voucher Number on the Voucher whenever calling and discussing your Voucher. The Voucher can only be used towards a future booking when the Voucher Number is quoted.
The Voucher is valid for any scheduled Virgin Australia and Virgin Samoa flight, and any published Blue Holidays package booking (excluding Cruise packages and Mystery Breaks) sold in AUD & NZD so long as the person calling to make the booking can quote the Voucher Number.
The Voucher cannot be used on Codeshare flights that are not part of the Virgin Australia Group.
Please note that any person quoting the Voucher Number will also have access to the booking details including personal information so please keep your Voucher Number a secret.
The Voucher is valid for bookings made within 12 months from the date of issue and will expire at midnight on the expiry date stated on the front of the Voucher with no extensions to the expiry date. The expiry date relates to booking date, not travel date.
If there is any credit remaining left on redemption of the Voucher, it can be used towards future flight or holiday package purchases until the credit balance reaches zero. Any balance that remains on the Voucher after the expiry date is not available for use.
Additional values cannot be added to existing Vouchers. However, additional Vouchers can be purchased.
When you are ready to make your booking, go to www.virginaustralia.com and complete your booking online for any domestic or short haul international destination. You will be able to redeem your voucher at the payment page.

You can redeem your gift voucher via our Guest Contact Centre for domestic and short haul international flight bookings, please note there will be a booking fee associated with this booking.
The Voucher amount can be used towards the payment of a booking. Any outstanding difference between the Voucher and the amount of the booking must be paid at the time of the booking with a valid credit card.
The relevant Virgin Australia or Virgin Samoa Terms and Conditions of Carriage and the relevant Fare Rules, or Blue Holidays Terms and Conditions will apply to all bookings using the Voucher.

Virgin Australia, Virgin Samoa, Blue Holidays and Wright Express disclaims any responsibility for lost or stolen Vouchers, or damaged goods or unsatisfactory service received in redemption for the Voucher.
You are responsible for the use and safety of your Voucher. You are liable for all transactions on your Voucher, except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence by us or by any of our employees.
This Voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
To the extent permitted by law, we reserve the right to change any terms contained in the Terms of Use at any time. Changes to Terms of Use will be available on this website.
Applicable Law: These Terms of Use are to be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute arising from your receipt or use of the Voucher is exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
