Listen to a vast selection of audio channels and watch a dynamic range of movie and TV channels on your hand-held personal digEplayer entertainment system.
Lounge Access
Guests travelling in Premium Economy on Virgin Australia Trans Tasman flights and applicable connecting flights are invited to use Air New Zealand Koru or the Virgin Australia lounge.
Note: Lounge access is not permitted in conjunction with flights to the Pacific Islands, Bali, Phuket or Port Moresby.
Baggage Allowance
Premium Economy guests enjoy an increased complimentary baggage allowance and Priority Baggage delivery. For more information on our international short haul baggage allowances, please refer to baggage information.
Priority Check-in
Skip the queues, check in and drop your bag off at our Priority Check-in facility at the airport.
As a Premium Economy guest you are invited to board the aircraft first, or at your leisure. When departing from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide international airports, Premium Economy guests may take advantage of a dedicated Priority Boarding lane (available at most gates).
Note: Premium Economy is not available on all international short haul services. Available cabin classes and fare types will be displayed in the booking panel when you book your flight.

During the flight our stand-up bar provides a selection of beverages to help the flight pass just that little bit quicker.
Entertainment
For Premium Economy guests travelling on our 777 international long haul service, our award-winning in-flight entertainment system ‘RED’ is yours to enjoy for the flight. ‘RED’ entertains all ages with an extensive range of new release and classic movies, TV favourites, engaging games and mood-satisfying music, delivered through a touch-screen and handset controlled system.

Connecting Flights with Partner Airlines
Premium Economy international long haul guests that connect to or from another service with Virgin Australia, or one of our airline partners, will travel in the following cabin class, depending on the type of service:
