Earn Points
Whether planning a romantic weekend away for two or a family holiday around Australia or New Zealand, members can earn Velocity Points with Blue Holidays.
Velocity members earn 3 Points per $1 spent on all eligible travel packages. Silver, Gold and Platinum members also earn bonus Points on top of the base Points earned*.
To earn Velocity Points on your holiday package, simply continue with your booking until you reach the guest details page of your booking, where you will be prompted to enter your Velocity membership number.
Redeem Points
Redeem your Velocity Points for a stay at one of 75,000 hotels, resorts, suites and inns across 180 countries with Blue Holidays.
Book online using Points
Members can use their Velocity Points to redeem for a Blue Holidays package online^.
Melbourne 2 Night Package from 39,350 Points including:
- Return Economy Airfares
- 2 Nights Accommodation
Adelaide 2 Night Package from 40,775 Points including:
- Return Economy Airfares
- 2 Nights Accommodation
To pay for a package using Points simply continue with your booking until you reach the payment page, where you will be able to redeem your Points for the total cost or use fewer Points. If you need to make up the balance by a few dollars Bank Transfer via “POLi” and credit card payments are available.
Redeem for a gift certificate
Members can also redeem their Velocity Points for Blue Holidays gift certificate.
- Blue Holidays AUD/NZD $100 Certificate – 14,300 Points
- Blue Holidays AUD/NZD $500 Certificate – 71,500 Points
- Blue Holidays AUD/NZD $1000 Certificate – 143,000 Points
You can redeem your Velocity Points for a Blue Holidays certificate online through the Velocity Member Contact Centre. Once you have your vouchers simply call our Guest Contact Centre on 13 15 16 (Australia) or +61 7 3118 6600 (everywhere else) and quote your Voucher number. Additional payment beyond the voucher value will be taken at the time of booking.
Terms and Conditions
*Flights purchased as part of a Blue Holidays or Mystery Breaks package will earn Velocity Points at the Blue Holidays Points earn rate and are not eligible to earn Status Credits. The individual nominated as the first traveller will accrue the Velocity Points for the total package value. Velocity Points earned is based on the total package price. Ancillary charges such as, but not limited to, insurance, food, telephone, laundry, etc will not accrue Velocity Points. Only Australian and New Zealand residents can earn Velocity Points when booking though Blue Holidays. Silver members earn a 50% Velocity Points bonus, Gold members earn a 75% Velocity Points bonus and Platinum members earn a 100% Velocity Points bonus on top of the base Velocity Points earned. Mystery Breaks packages are subject to additional terms and conditions, please visit the Blue Holidays website for full terms and conditions.
Velocity members cannot redeem Velocity Points to book a Mystery Breaks booking.
