Virgin Australia Assists Affected Qantas Passengers

Virgin Australia will accommodate Qantas passengers on current services where possible and the airline is also looking at putting on additional services to support travellers.

The airline is also in discussions with alliance partners to add extra capacity into the market as soon as possible.

Virgin Australia will offer special “Stranded Passenger” recovery fares for passengers who are currently at a port away from home and hold a Qantas ticket to return home initially within the next 5 days. These special fares are subject to availability.
