Flying to the footy’s back. After a couple of years, we’d all happily drop punt into the back rows, so we thought it was high time to celebrate in true Virgin Australia-style – up in the air.
On Thursday March 17, 2022, we’ll be hosting our very first AFL Fan Flight from Sydney to Melbourne. Trust us, if you’re a footy tragic, this isn’t one you’ll want to miss out on.
You'll step on board with AFL Legend and 3-time Richmond premiership player, Kevin Sheedy and Carlton premiership hero, Anthony Koutoufides. With 8 VFL/AFL premierships and more than 1200 games between them, there will be no shortage of tall stories, banter and unforgettable moments.
On board, you’ll also be flying with the ultimate VIP – the Premiership Cup. And to keep you cheering, we’ll be dishing up your favourite footy bites and beverages, along with AFL merchandise and even a banner.
