Perth Climate

Perth experiences a Mediterranean climate. Summers are generally hot and dry, with temperatures sitting between 17°C and 30°C – sometimes rising above 40°C. A sea breeze known as "The Fremantle Doctor“ blows from the south-west most afternoons, providing relief from the summer heat.

Winters are relatively cool and wet, with temperatures sitting between 9°C and 19°C. Perth experiences more sunshine than any other Australian state capital.
